Introduction
Ghazi Ilm Din Shaheed was a carpenter from Lahore, Punjab, British India. He was born on December 4, 1908, and was married with two children. 
 
 Early Life and Education 
Ghazi Ilm Deen Shaheed was born in a humble village, located in the province of Punjab, British India, in the early 20th century. From a young age, he displayed a remarkable intellect and an insatiable thirst for knowledge. His passion for learning led him to pursue religious education, and he became well-versed in Islamic teachings, history, and jurisprudence.

Rise of Religious Tensions 
During the 1920s, the Indian subcontinent was undergoing a period of intense religious and political turmoil. The Muslim community, in particular, faced numerous challenges and discrimination under the British colonial rule. It was within this charged atmosphere that Ghazi Ilm Deen Shaheed emerged as a staunch advocate for the rights and dignity of his fellow Muslims.
 
The Trial and Sacrifice  
Ghazi Ilm Deen Shaheed's name became etched in history through a singular act of bravery that would reverberate across the nation. In 1929, Rajpal, a publisher in Lahore, released a book that contained derogatory remarks against the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Deeply outraged by this blasphemous publication, Ghazi Ilm Deen Shaheed took matters into his own hands to defend the honor of the beloved Prophet. On October 31, 1929, he went to the bookshop of the publisher, Mahashe Rajpal, and stabbed him to death.

Martyrdom and Legacy 
Ghazi Ilm Deen Shaheed was subsequently arrested and put on trial for his act of defiance. He defended his actions on the grounds of protecting the honor and sanctity of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Despite the overwhelming support he received from the Muslim community, he was ultimately sentenced to death by the British colonial authorities.


On October 31, 1929, Ghazi Ilm Deen Shaheed was executed.
He was arrested and charged with murder, and was convicted and sentenced to death. He was hanged on March 19, 1930. His sacrifice became a catalyst for the growing movement for independence and ignited a flame of resistance against British oppression. His name became synonymous with courage, and his martyrdom inspired countless individuals to stand up against injustice.
